Ceramics and materials
ERP for the ceramics industry, with traceability for every batch
USER Informática, based in Valencia, works with ceramics companies such as Pamesa Cerámica, TAU Cerámica, Navarti, Colorobbia and Azuliber. Its ERP, W3ERP, handles sales, purchasing, production, batches and packaging, an RF warehouse, EDI and a B2B portal, and runs in the browser with nothing to install.

What the industry needs
These are the challenges that come up most often among the ceramics and materials companies that work with USER Informática. We note them down in the process analysis that opens every W3ERP implementation, and they are the first thing the system has to solve when it goes live.
- Shades, calibres and batches
- The same reference comes out of the kiln in several shades and calibres. If the order does not fix the batch and the warehouse does not respect it, tiles that do not match end up on site.
- Pallets and packaging
- Tiles are sold by the square metre but stored and shipped in boxes and pallets. Stock has to add up in metres, pieces and packages at the same time.
- Production and real cost
- To know the margin of each reference, the manufacturing order has to capture atomised clay and glaze consumption and the time of each phase, and give the real cost per batch.
- Distribution and EDI
- Large distributors work through EDI: they send orders and receive delivery notes and invoices without paper. They also want to check prices and stock on a B2B portal.
- Radio-frequency warehouse
- With thousands of references spread over many locations, every receipt, every pick and every truck load is recorded on a terminal the moment it happens.
Glossary terms
What W3ERP does in a ceramics company
W3ERP follows each batch and its packaging from the manufacturing order to delivery, and calculates the real cost from consumption and the time of each phase. For sales it has EDI with distributors, e-invoicing, SII and a B2B portal for customers. The warehouse is run by locations with radio-frequency terminals.

Modules that fit best
For ceramics and materials companies, these are the W3ERP modules used most. They work on the same data and combine without intermediate integrations. Each one has its own entry on the modules page. Customisation then fits the whole set to the way each company works.

Frequently asked questions
These are the questions companies ask us most about this topic, answered in a few lines and without jargon. We review them every time the product or the regulations change. If yours is not here, write to us: we will answer and, if it helps other companies, add it to this list.
What is the difference between the shade and the calibre of a tile?
The shade is the colour variation between different firings of the same tile model, and the calibre is the difference between the real size of the piece and its nominal size. Both are shown by a code printed on each box and must not be mixed in the same room. That is why the warehouse manages them as batch keys and the ERP must reserve and ship by shade and calibre.
What is an ERP and what is it for in a company?
An ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system is business management software that brings the sales, purchasing, production, warehouse and accounting of a company together in a single database. It makes every department work with the same data: stock, orders and invoices match what is in the warehouse and what has been delivered to each customer.
Shall we talk about your project?
Tell us what your company manages and what is holding you back today. We will call or write to understand the case and suggest the modules that fit. If it makes sense, we prepare a demonstration with your own data. Asking for the call or the demonstration does not commit you to buying anything.
