USER Informática S.L. (UserIT) is a business software company founded in Valencia, Spain, in 1987. It develops the W3ERP ERP on its own platform, free of third-party licences and 100% web since 2005, has run on Amazon Web Services since 2024 and serves clients in Spain, Romania, Morocco, the United States and Brazil.

How we work
USER Informática starts from one conviction, that technology should make every interaction simpler, and works to four principles. We develop our own solutions: the software is designed and programmed by our team. We do not depend on third-party licences. We build on our own platform. And we customise with a no-code software factory approach.

Technology
Since 2005 all the software has been web-based: it is used in the browser and there is nothing to install on the workstation. The servers run Linux and Apache, programming is done in PHP, JavaScript and HTML and, since 2024, operations have run on Amazon Web Services.

USER Informática works with thirteen vendors and technologies: HP, IBM, Microsoft, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Occentus Networks, Cisco Systems, Fortinet, Zebra, Red Hat, Linux, PostgreSQL and PHP. The systems area works with all of them, and W3ERP has been hosted on Amazon Web Services since 2024.

The head office is in Valencia, at Plaza José María Orense 7 and 8. From there, projects are served in Bucharest, Tangier, Miami, Anaheim and Recife. As the software is 100% web, it is used the same way in any of those cities, and support and development are handled by the Valencia team.

How long has USER Informática been in business?
Since 1987. USER Informática was founded that year in Valencia, Spain, and has been developing business software ever since. It started on Nixdorf Computer and Siemens Nixdorf equipment, moved to Fujitsu Siemens Computers in 1995, to Siemens and Hewlett-Packard in 2005 and to Occentus Networks in 2015, and today runs on Amazon Web Services. Its software has gone from character mode and MS-DOS to fully web applications.
Does UserIT work with companies outside Valencia?
Yes. The head office is in Valencia, at Plaza José María Orense 7 and 8, and projects in Bucharest, Tangier, Miami, Anaheim and Recife are handled from there. W3ERP is 100% web and works the same in any city; support and development are done by the Valencia team. The on-site systems service covers Valencia and its surroundings.
Does W3ERP need licences from other vendors?
No. W3ERP is built on the USER Informática development platform and does not depend on third-party licences. It runs on Linux and Apache servers, is programmed in PHP, JavaScript and HTML and has been hosted on Amazon Web Services since 2024. It is updated and maintained by the UserIT team that develops it.
