POS
A POS (point of sale, TPV in Spanish) is the system used to record sales at the counter or the box office: items or tickets, cash or card payment and receipt. Integrated in the ERP, every sale deducts stock and is posted to the accounts at once.
What is the difference between a stand-alone POS and an integrated one?
A stand-alone POS forces you to transfer sales to the management program at closing time, with the delay and errors that involves. An integrated POS works on the same database: stock, cash and accounts are up to date with every receipt, and the cash close becomes a simple check.
Where it appears in W3ERP
The W3ERP POS and box office module records counter sales and ticket sales for shows directly in central management: payments, stock and accounts are updated at once. It works from the browser, with nothing installed on the workstation, and is used in culture and entertainment, public administration and the furniture industry.
